At Scandinavia Only, we are offering a unique opportunity to view brown bears in their natural habitat in the Swedish wilderness. The beginning of the trip is spent at a 4* boutique hotel in the Swedish countryside where you can enjoy hiking or biking using a GPS guide. The highlight of the holiday, however, is an overnight stay in a forest bear hide. A guide will lead you through the forest to the hide which has been especially designed with discreet viewing windows for humans and cameras. Here, you will learn more about the habits of these incredible creatures and have the thrill of also spotting them! The final two-nights are spent relaxing back at the boutique hotel with an evening’s spa package which includes an outdoor hot-tub and lakeside sauna.

This relaxing fly-drive holiday offers an exciting ten-night exploration of Norway’s beautiful Western Fjords. It features three nights spent in Lofthus in the Ullensvang Hotel – one of Norway’s most famous hotels – and a base from which to experience a plethora of natural wonders and activities. Adventure seekers might even wish to embark on a hike to Trolltunga, a spectacular rock formation jutting out 700 metres above Ringedalsvatnet lake. Guests will then travel to Balestrand overlooking the spectacular Sognefjord and with a magnificent backdrop of glacier-cut mountains. After a few days, guests make their way to Loen, an idyllic village surrounded by stunning scenery from where they can enjoy waterfalls, mountains and fjord. Best for… exploring Iceland without a car

It’s difficult to see a lot of Iceland independently without a car. But we’ve solved the problem with this fantastic summer trip that combines a serious exploration of south and north Iceland, connected by an intrepid highland bus journey called the Kjölur route. This route is not only off-the-beaten track, it is a unique insight into the remote inner terrain of Iceland. First, the trip begins in Reykjavik for three nights, where you will enjoy a tour of the top South-Coast attractions including Skógafoss waterfall and Reynisfjara black beach. Then, you will traverse the middle of the country by bus until you reach Akureyri, the largest city in north Iceland. Here, you can explore the city in addition to emarking on the Diamond Circle Tour which showcases the highlights of the North, stopping at such attractions as, Goðafoss waterfall and Lake Mývatn.
