After your cosy retreat in a winter-wonderland lodge, it's time to switch things up for a couple of nights in the architecturally modern Treehotel - one of the world's most unique places to spend the night. All rooms are located high in the treetops of the Swedish wilderness and offer breath-taking views in harmony with nature.
This holiday not only offers a truly unique experience, but the best of both by offering endless relaxation and adventure. When you’re not enjoying the cosy comforts of a huge fireplace or hot tub, you can select from a variety of guided tours - snowmobiling, Northern Lights photography trips, husky sledding and Nordic skiing are just a few of the exciting experiences on offer to make your memories last a lifetime.
Day 1 - Guided transfer to your exclusive, private lodge
Arrive at Luleå Airport. Met on arrival by your personal guide for a guided tour to your private eco-lodge. During your guided transfer you will visit Gammelstad Church Town - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and be served hot/cold drinks and local snacks. This is a lovely welcome to Swedish Lapland and gives you a real insight into the region you are visiting.
Check-in to your Loggers Lodge; the location of your lodge provides the ultimate wilderness experience with zero light pollution for Aurora watching.

Day 2 - Wilderness retreat all of your own
Today you have the opportunity to relax and luxuriate in your very own private wilderness retreat. Alternatively, for those who would like to explore the wonderful nature of this region, we have hand-picked a selection of outdoor activities which can be pre-booked to complement your stay.
Dinner is prepared and served in your lodge and the remainder of the evening is yours - we recommend sitting in your outdoor hot-tub and admiring the stars and, hopefully, the Northern Lights.
Day 3 - Treehotel and your very own Tree room
After a delicious breakfast served by your private chef, it's time for your private transfer to the world-famous Treehotel.
To settle into your new environment why not take a sauna within the trees? With views across uninterrupted snow-capped forestscape, your Tree Room is the perfect location and height to view the Northern Lights, should they make an appearance as nightfall descends.

LOGGERS LODGE (5 star) - Harads
A luxury private retreat for two, Loggers Lodge is hidden away in the depths of the pristine Boreal forest in Swedish Lapland. Apart from your hosts who are on hand to ensure the finer details of your stay run perfectly, you will have the entire lodge completely to yourselves. Indulgence and relaxation is key for an unforgettable stay, with your private chef preparing food carefully chosen from local ingredients, a sauna and outdoor hot tub, and the centrally placed fireplace that dominates the main room directly in front of your king-size bed. TREEHOTEL - Harads
An amazing collection of tree house rooms, all with WC and washbasin - showers in the Tree Sauna close by! Each one is an individual design based on ecological principles and designed by internationally renowned architects. Price based on either the Birds Nest, Cabin, Blue Cone or UFO, supplement for the Mirrorcube and their latest design - the 7th Room designed by famed architectural firm Snøhetta. Britta's Pensjonat is close by which has a restaurant, sauna and relaxation area and is also where breakfast is served. Staying in one of these rooms really is a once in a liftetime opportunity.
DOG-SLEDDING from Loggers Lodge
Description: Perhaps one of the most popular activities in Lapland and certainly one of the most exciting! It is also a wonderful way to experience the nature and your surroundings and, of course, enjoy the company of your super-friendly dog team! Each trip includes a 1-hour transfer to the dog-sledding ranch. Several different options are available and all include full instructions on how to drive a dog-team and guiding:
SITTING ON SLED (duration 3.5 hours): You sit on the sled with a musher steering the dog team. A stop for hot beverage in the beautiful nature.
SHARING SLED (duration 23.5 hours): Two people per dog-sled with your own dog team with approx. 3 dogs per sled. A stop for some snacks around an open fire and to swap around passenger and driver.
DRIVE YOUR OWN SLED (duration 3.5 or 6 hours): After instructions on how to drive a dog team, you will set off with your own dog-team (one person per sled driving). Includes a stop for some snacks around an open fire and lunch for longer trip.
MUSHER FOR A DAY (duration 6 hours): A day tour where you drive your own dog team, one person per dog-sled. During the tour you stop for lunch, a lunch that your guide makes over an open fire.
Price: Sitting on a Sled, £225 per person. Sharing Sled, £255 per person (3.5 hrs), £355 per person (6 hrs). Musher for a Day, £395 per person.

MEET A SÁMI FAMILY AND VISIT THE ARCTIC CIRCLE MONUMENT - from Loggers Lodge
Description: The Sámi people are the indigenous people of the region known as Lapland; they have herded their reindeer in these parts for thousands of years and are very proud of their history and culture. This excursion offers a special opportunity to visit the Eriksson Sámi family at their home and learn about their way of life - past and present. Lars Eriksson's ancestors have lived in the remote area called Flakaberg for generations and during your visit you will hear first-hand stories of Såmi life, as things were in the 'old days' and how young Sámi people maintain and celebrate their heritage today and continue herding reindeer. After a guided walk around Lars' small settlement, and meeting up with a few of his reindeer, you will be served a homemade lunch by his wife, Anette. On the way back to Loggers Lodge you will make a stop at the Arctic Circle Portal, a simple monument which records that you have reached the Arctic Circle and the perfect place to record exactly how far north you really are! This trip provides a great experience for those who want to learn more about the Såmi culture and explore the region's magnificent nature.

SNOWSHOEING from Loggers Lodge
Description: Walk on untouched snow and learn about the arctic nature. Snowshoeing is a fun winter activity that needs no special skills and can be enjoyed at any pace. It's an easy way to experience a winter landscape as the snowshoes enable you to walk across deep snow without sinking up to your hips! Together with your private guide you will walk on untouched snow uphill to a viewpoint overlooking a frozen lake. Enroute you will learn about the typical fauna, simple survival skills and enjoy the silence of the wilderness forest. Food, drinks and local delicacies are served around the campfire at the viewpoint to keep you warm and full of energy before your return to the lodge.
