Hotel Gullmarsstrand is as close to the ocean as you can get, with a jetty overlooking the islands and bays of Gullmarsfjorden. The hotel has emerged slowly over thirty-five years, under the same ownership of three brothers. The starting point was the old bathhouse restaurant in Fiskebäckskil. Room by room and building by building has been added cautiously and thoughtfully. In picturesque Fiskebäckskil there is still an ever present feeling of sea voyages and weather-beaten ships.
The hotel has modern rooms equipt with Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs; many have sea views, and some have balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Hotel TanumStrand is situated by a marina nearby Grebbestad, and is a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. The restaurant offers sea views and modern Swedish cuisine. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and W-Fi and a sofa. Most rooms overlook the picturesque sea. Guests can enjoy free access to the indoor and outdoor pool, as well as the sauna and hot tub. Other leisure options include mini golf, diving and fishing.

Things to do in Gothenburg
Liseberg Amusement Park
Head-spinning rides, carousels and concerts are an essential part of summer. There is something for everyone at Liseberg, from forty-one rides and attractions on offer that thrill and entertain kids and grown-ups alike.
The "Fish Church" is a fish market hall completed in 1874 to a design by the city architect, Viktor von Gegerfeldt. And yes, it does actually look like a church. If you're a fan of seafood, grab a seat at one of the restaurants on the second floor for some seriously fresh seafood.
Who is this holiday for?
This sightseeing holiday appeals to a wide range of people, especially those who like being part of a group and enjoy the idea of exploring from both land and sea at a leisurely pace.
What is the boat like?
The boat M/S Nya Skärgården was built 1915 and takes 220 passenger. During this cruise we only take 100 passenger (though usually less) to make it a very comfortable trip. The ship was rebuilt in 1996 and now has modern technology, safety equipment and engines.
