A fantastic combination of Sweden's ICEHOTEL plus an exhilarating overnight snowmobile safari in Swedish Lapland's magnificent arctic wilderness.
The ICEHOTEL is located 200 kms north of the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland, and provides perhaps one of the most chilled out overnight experiences ever! Art Suites have been decorated by ice artists who strive, each year, to create new and unique art and design to enthrall overnight guests.
However, this isn't the only unique overnight stay featured in this holiday; participants also embark on a fabulous overnight snowmobile safari deeper into Swedish Lapland, towards Sweden's highest mountain, Kebnekaise. The journey includes the opportunity to try ice-fishing and perhaps spot moose, before arriving at Enoks, a wonderful Sámi wilderness basecamp, for an overnight stay in heated cabins.
A very special holiday for those who enjoy an adventure!

Who is this holiday suitable for?
This holiday definitely appeals to adults who want to experience and Arctic wilderness experience in a short space of time. This holiday is not suitable for children as the amount of time spent on a snowmobile is considerable and they tend to feel the cold more than adults when outdoors for extended periods.
Do I need a driving license in order to drive a snowmobile?
Yes, and it is important that you bring it with you as our suppliers are within their rights to refuse to let you drive a snowmobile unless they have seen it. For more information regarding snowmobile safaris click here.
What sort of clothing will I need?
During your stay at the ICEHOTEL warm boots, a snowsuit, mittens and balaclava are included for the duration of your stay. During your overnight snowmobile safari thermal outer clothing is also included plus, of course, your helmet.
Howerver, as a rule of thumb for any Arctic winter holiday, we would strongly recommend the layering principal (base, mid, outer) with man-made thermal fibres or wool. In our opinion wool is definitely best, and merino wool is soft and cosy and certainly a good investment. A good, waterproof outdoor jacket is essential, and also over trousers are a bonus if you have them. Wool socks (we wouldn't wear anything else here), perhaps a couple of pairs, and good hiking boots or snow boots are very important. Gloves, scarf, hat and you're raring to go!
If you're doing optional excursions like dog-sledding, snowshoeing, and Aurora hunting activities you will be provided with thermal overalls to ensure you are warm and cosy during extended periods outdoors.
What is Icehotel 365?
Basically it is a year round Icehotel! It is a structure with a green turf roof, covered with Arctic mountain flowers and grass before the snow arrives and then covered with snow when the snow falls. The turf roof covers metal sheets, protecting the building insulation which is designed to keep cold air in. The arched inner ceiling has built-in chilling tubes holding a temperature of -5 C. The inner walls are then covered in snow. The whole structure is held up by pillars, but the walls of the rooms are made from snow. As with the original Icehotel a key element is its adornment inside with decorative objects, pillars and sculptures. 25 commissioned artists and architects are responsible for the decoration and design of the suites, bar and gallery. Icehotel 365 means you are now able to enjoy an Icehotel experience all year round.
