Day 10 & 11
Time to encounter mesmerising architecture, world-class art and bejewelled palaces. If you want to see why St. Petersburg is commonly referred to as the ‘Venice of the North’, a boat trip along the River Neva gives you the perfect chance as well as endless photo opportunities. And, of course, the Hermitage Museum is an absolute MUST!

Scandic Marski Hotel
The Scandic Marski hotel in central Helsinki offers rest and relaxation on your holiday amid the city's attractions. If you’d like to venture further afield, the hotel’s reception will be happy to lend you a bicycle or walking poles.

The individual interiors at the Demetra Art Hotel were designed in Italy, and all feature a theme representing a different period in the history of St. Petersburg. Yes, a visa is required for Russia. We will handle as much of the process as possible for you but everyone is required to go to the Visa Application Centres in London or Edinburgh for the final part of the application.
